the walls started to crack and leak a black liquid. the sound of wind picked up but the air was still. a book on one of the shelves dropped onto the floor and opened to a page. covering the entire page was a massive 8 pointed star with the words "even death may die" written in a circle around it.

I pulled out my Iphone to play tetris on it. -
"why shouldn't we turn on the lights?" Tails asked, "It's scary in here."
