I led her to the courtyard and sat down under my favorite maple tree. "In the spring, the buds and blossoms are mystifying." -
Rebekah
I examined the tree. "I bet it is..." I sat down beside him, and started to eat some salad. -
Cole
I pushed my sandwich away, cracking open my bottle of coke. -
Rebekah
I sipped a little bit of water awkwardly. -
Cole
"Now, besides the absurd people, are you enjoying this school?" I took a sip of my soda. -
Rebekah
"Its pretty.. cool." -
Cole
I nodded, swallowing some soda. "Don't hold back. I know it's a bit... overbearing, awful... You opinion won't hurt me in any way." -
Rebekah
I sighed. "I just feel so foreign here.. worthless, useless." I ate some more of my salad. -
Cole
I looked over at her. "But you know that isn't true," I said the question more as a statement. -
Rebekah
I blushed. "W-Why thank you.." -
Cole
I smiled. "The truth has its own way of being revealed." -

I took a swig of the soda. I admit, it was a bit disgusting... But in a good way. -

I drank some more of my water.
