The dark, faded wooden floorboards creaked as she stepped slowly. She walked into the victorian bedroom and laid down, thinking about her boyfriend in heaven.
He'll never see me again, she thought. -
She smiled, adding more and more bounce to her step until she was skipping. If it were lighter, one might mistake her for an innocent child. But there was something about the darkness that gave her something almost...eerie. She closed her eyes and let her feet decide the path.

As Sterling walked on the sidewalk, he had seen a girl in the distance. 'Who the hell is out this late at night?' he ironically thought -
She soon started to tear up. But she shook it off and decided to go for a walk.
She exited the eerie house and walked silently on the grey sidewalk. -
Sterling saw another girl at the end of the sidewalk.
How odd. he thought. -
She continued on her way, ignoring the feeling of being seen. When she opened her eyes she could see a large house not far. As well as someone comming out.

As I understand it, Kelsey has just exited the house. Both your character, Sterling, and Veala see her. Indicating they're somewhat close to each other.

Sterling walked towards the girl. slowly. gradually taking steps. -
Kelsey looked and saw a boy. and a girl. They both looked young, younger then her. She ignored them, and kept walking.

Then someone else appeared. Two people in the same night? That never happened!
