How about pure ass-kicking, rage taken out on humans,
Ok so the vampires know when the Hunan race will collapse, especially since they're going to help. In a mix of natural disasters and chaos the vampires take out their anger on the weak humans, forcing the Human race to collapse,

Skyler looked out on the skyline, "soon this will be gone" her fangs extended. The entire city below her was a chaotic mess. -
Sitting at home and watching the news, completely bored, Erica frowned. She'd been given a fake party address, again. She pushed that to the back of her mind as a breaking news alert appeared on TV. Something about chaos in a city on the other side of the country. It was being called the doing of terrorists. What the heck? Erica turned off the TV.
