I glanced up, pulling my hair back. Didn't want to take any chances after all. You never know what could happen in a situation like so. I mean, this was maximum security! Lazers, motion sensors, heat sensors, pressure pads, traps, survialance, and tons of other death-causing-thingamajigs.

Creative beginning. :D
Viv sat in music class. It was a free day to play any instrument or do pretty much anything you wanted. Viv sat next to a few other girls, who were all trying to mimic her as she masterfully played a xylophone. -
Does that offend you? 'Cause I live in Massachusetts too. Dun bother me. I'm irish myself.

My gloves fitted perfectly, my shoes were clean, my socks weren't wet... Everything was set in place. Like pawns in chess.

"Wow, Viv! You're so talented!" Viv smiled slightly. Even though the comments bugged her a little. They had a clue about what was going on in math, and spelling, and science... -

"One." I muttered, taking the hook, slipping it into the latch on my belt. "Here I come." -

"Thanks," she murmured, setting down the mallet carefully. Class was almost over. She put away the zylophone and the mallet. -
Oh. Heh.
I bolted to the edge of the roof, leaping off the small platform. The violet sky swirled in a blurry of clouds. I did a 180 and grabbed the wire. It was like freefalling, only it wasn't. And I loved it. -
She, with the rest of her class, went back to the classroom. She packed her backpack, ready to go home.

"Woohoo!" I whisper shouted as I had contact with metal gurders. There was a window open where I stopped, So I glanced in. A camera, heat sensor. Hmm.
