The thud of flesh and bone against the ground made me snicker. Cold agianst cold. It was satisfying. "Great..." I muttered sternly, despite my slight excitment inside. -
I wiped my hands off on my jeans, pulling my hood forward to hide my face. I knew that if my parents were alive I'd never had done this, gotten myself into this life of... killing. But they're gone, so to hell with it all. I needed something to give me happiness. This was the only option.

"Knife?" I held my hand out. Something in my brain... it... made me think for a second. Then it disapeared.

I grunted, handing over the bloody knife to my... er... boss. I wanted to keep it. He'd never let that happen.

The shine of it, the feel... it felt right. I gently slid the edge of the knife into my mouth, licking the blood off. Of course, I knew better, but sometimes I couldn't help myself.
