I shook my head and continued to walk. Why wouldn't this creep shut up and leave me alone?
-
I sidestepped in front of her, once more. "Aren't we?"
-
"No. Leave me alone." I stared up at her. It was a little windy, and it blew her coat's hood off of her head.
-
I could feel the glint in my eyes.
THey weren't a bloody red, more of a cherry red. Still, it tended to creep people out. I smirked.
"Aw, pity. And I was really starting to like you." -
My eyes widened when I saw her eyes. That wasn't normal. Not for a human. I started backing up slowly then dashed away.
-
I ran wuick. Too quick. Again, I was in front of her.
"Going somewhere? Not to worry, I'd happily be your escort."
I bowed, keeping my eyes locked with hers. -
I sighed. Obviously, she wasn't going to stop. And she was faster than I was. "... Fine."
-
"Oh, goodie."
I walked along beside her, tightening my scarf. "So what's bugging you?" -
You. I wasn't about to actually say that, though. "Nothing."
-
I chuckled lightly, trying not to act as hyper as I was. "Oh really? Is that why you shooed me off, took a shortcut throguh a park and pissing misery right now? Because you're a big ol' bag of sunshine?"
-
"No, because I needed to get home." I looked at the ground in front of me and continued to walk. I noticed that she looked a lot older than I did. Definitely taller.
-
"Hmm...well, why out so late in the first place?"
-
I didn't want to answer. I was embarrassed about my C's and D's among my straight-A friends. But I did anyway. "Tutor."
-
"Ahh. So you're not the brightest Crayola in the pack, you find? Or is it the parents?"
-
She was referring to me as a crayon. And I thought she seemed mature. Didn't one get rid of crayons after, like, fourth grade? "The first one."
