"I was wondering...."I started to say,"If you could see my vision....you know,with your mind reading?"I wanted to know because I wasn't sure if I could tell him.

"No I couldn't. Sometimes the mind reading doesn't work with certain other powers. Future seeing being one of them"

"Oh,"I said. Damn it, now I'm going to have to tell him.

"Tell me what?" I asked. If this is what had been troubling her, I wanted to know.

"It was..."I faltered. I just couldn't bring myself to tell him. I decided to say it as fast as I could and get it over with."You were burned to death on a stake in this ritual type thing, I tried to save you but I don't know what happened after that because the vision abruptly like someone knocked me on the head."

I just looked down at her. "Are you okay?" I asked her.

"Not really."I said hugging him close to me.

I hugged her back and put my head on hers.

I didn't know what to do. I just said,"Matt, I'm so sorry."

"Sorry for what?" I asked her "You shouldn't be sorry for anything!"

I looked deep into his eyes. I saw that he cared but he just didn't understand. I got up and said,"I just need some time alone." With that I ran off.

I wanted to go after her. But I knew from my parents, when a lady wants to be alone, leave her alone ! My dad learned that the hard way when they were dating.

I just didn't know what to do. Should I leave and hope that it saves him or stay and see where it takes me? I decided I would stay. I walked back and decided just for fun I'd mess with him.I thought,"Come and find me. I raced away quickly and up a tree.

I heard Megan. I ran in her direction until her scent and thoughts were strongest. I found her quickly and tackled her.
