I ran. I could start to hear my parents' thoughts. The fact that my mom had super speed and I had Megan on my back didn't help.

"How good at tracking at they?" I said. I started to think that maybe we could throw something with our scent on it to through them off.

"Really bad" I told her. "We have to think of something quick though"

"Climb up one of the pine tree's I'll follow you."I said getting off him."If they're as bad at tracking as you say they will pass us. That would buy us some time."

"Okay" I said. "Wait, if they're focused on trying to track us, we can just keep moving in the trees"

"Okay,"I said already climbing up,"Let's go."

I climbed up after her. When we got to the top, we waited. I saw my parents stop near the bottom of the tree. Then they left.

When it was clear Matt's parents were long gone I jumped to the next tree and the next and the next. I looked behind to see if Matt was there.

She left me with the bags so I was a little slower -_- I carefully jumped after her.

When he caught up I took my bag and said"That has to lighten your load a bit." Then I took off again.

I shook my head and tried to have a little friendly competion. I backed up and jumped to the same tree she was going in.

"So now you're trying to race me."I said playfully and jumped to the next tree 50 feet away.

I smiled and said "I guess so" I jumped on her.

I got him off me and stood up."Need I remind you we are in a tree?" I smiled.
