I sat alone in the library, reading.

Lola walked around to see if she could find something to eat and somewhere to stay.
Max sat in the back of the library reading. -
I returned the book to its shelf and went farther back into the library. After browsing and making a selection, I saw a boy reading. I'd already read that book before. "That's a good book. Too bad-" I stop, realizing I was about to do the unthinkable; give a spoiler.

Max looked up. "Too bad what?"

"Nevermind." I opened the cover of the book I'd picked up and read the description.

Lola saw a girl walk past a restaurant she followed her.
"Okay" Max went back to reading the book. -
I sat down a few feet away from him and began to read as well.

Max got up grabbed the book he was reading and sat next to the girl.

I glanced at the boy and went back to my reading.

I looked at the boy. "What part are you at?" I looked up at the wall. The library was close to closing.

"Hi, I'm Max"
"Hi!" Lola said waving -
"Hi Max." I smiled a bit. "The library's probably about to close."
