"What is it?" Kate asked, seeing his face lift a bit.

"Let's say you had a feeling that there's someone nearby who'd keep an eye on you when you'd step out. He might edge him onto changing his mind."

"I suppose it might...I'll ask."

"Okay."

She again pressed the magic button, and the Creator was there in seconds. "If you're going to ask again-" "I just have this feeling that there's someone out there who'll look after me. You know, make sure nothing happens."

Once again, he disappeared from view.

Creator opened his mouth to respond, but sighed instead. "I guess...it's alright if you step out for a minute or two." Kate could hardly believe it.

His smiled, and let out a small muted cheer.

"I'll be in the Library when you come back." he said, leaving. Only this time he left her door open. "I can't believe it, I really can't believe it!" she squeled, running first out her door then the front.

"It actually worked!"

"It did! I'm outside and it's wonderful! The ground is cold, but the air is fresh and clean!"

"Yup." he grinned.

"Thank you so much! If it wasn't for you, I'd have never worked up the courage to ask again."

"You're very welcome."

She smiled, and began walking around. She wanted to get a good glimpse of everything before Creator came to get her.
