^-^ Bleh. You can tell I made this thread when I was a novice. ._.
Sparrow kept moving toward the border, alert for any suspicious movement. It was mostly quiet, but it soon becake evident they were drawing nearer to something bad. She could feel her fingertips twitching at the thought of another fight.
Mind if I start a war to make this a bit more interesting~? -
(So was I.But still,I joined 4 days before you :P.And sure.But I might suck at describeing war moments.)
Matt followed her.His body was filled with tension.He couldn't tell if he was scared or just tired,but it didn't change anything,he had to fight now. -
Sorry, my turns over. 3x I hope you'll be here when my next turn comes up.
Sparrow paused a few feet from where the boundaries of the vampiric territory ended, eyes wide. This scent.. It couldn't be. She sniffed at the air again, confirming. Yes, these were the scents of at least two hundred individual humans. And more and more were appearing.
"But there couldn't have been more than thirty that attacked us..." she muttered, glaring at the ground. She moved a bit closer to the border, peering around a few trees, and cursed under her breath. Yes, it was clear now. Even from here, quite a while from the point the hunters had seen them enter the territory, there were a few stragglers, standing huddled together in a group.
Leaning in a bit closer, she heard one bragging about his conquests of entire families of vampires, and the others laughing.
"You make me sick." Sparrow hissed to herself, almost forgetting Matt was there in her rising anger. -

Maru: You still here?

(My Savior :O.I was about to die from boredom.)
He could sense it too,they were a lot.Were they going to stand a chance against them?
"Sparrow..."
But she never paid attention. -
Maru: Awww don't do that.
Sparrow glared at the hunters. There were undoubtedly a lot more nearby, but if she was quick... Surely these few would be easy enough to kill off before any more could react?
"No.. we need to know what they're all suddenly here for..." she muttered under her breath. She heard her name spoken behind her, reminding her finally that Matt was there with her. She slowly tore her gaze away from the humans and blinked at him.
"Hm?" -
"I'm not chickening,but they're a lot.I say,let's retreat and inform the others."
He hoped for some sanity in her. -
Sparrow blinked again, as if only just seeing him now.
"Retreat? We can take these ones." It took her a moment to realize that she was only saying this to argue with him. She turned her eyes to the ground and kicked a rock lightly. "But we should tell the others before we do anything."
She paused for a long moment, then smirked.
"But first, recon."
Sparrow darted off toward the main body of hunters before he could say anything, carefully keeping on her side of the border. -
Matt,looking puzzled,paused for some moments to get control over himself again.
What was she doing? -
When Sparrow had gotten close enough that she could see the exact point where she and Matt had entered the territory- and the swarm of hunters lined up there- she paused again, scrutinizing each face. She listened closely now, trying not to pay too much attention to the ones bragging about the vampires they had slain. Her mind was becoming foggy each time she heard them speak about those things, making it harder and harder to pick out information that would be useful to the others. Why was she here? To kill them all? If that wasn't why she'd originally come this close to them, it would soon beome her sole purpose.
"...broke the little fucker's spine and it kept screaming for like, I don't even know, musta been seven minutes."
"Holy shit! Seriously?" -
When he spotted sparrow,he didn't hesitate to join her.Swiftly running,he tried not to get any attention.
"Fight we shall,right?"
He wasn't an expert in glorious sentences. -
Sparrow blinked, stiffened up, and turned quickly to glare at Matt.
"The hell? Don't go loopy on me." she hissed quietly. She was grateful for him snapping her out of her anger-induced bloodlust, but she didn't need him to start talking like Yoda now. She blinked again, and stepped away from the tree.
"Not right now." she said, and sighed. With one last glance at the hunters, she forced herself to turn and start heading back toward the base. "We'll tell the others first. Unless... you wanted to fight?" -
(Actually,you were cool back then when we first started this soap.Not that you're not now,but you changed so much.)
