The rule is not to use them until you lose your virginity or you'll risk breaking your hymen, which could lead to bad bacteria build up.
Ugh, period pains. They suck crap...I hope you feel better though. Have you eaten a banana? Potassium helps with pain :) -

i don't like bananas...:( but you break your hymen anyways when you are putting a tampon in. and you dont lose your virginity. all my friends and family use tampons and they are fine and they have definitely not lost their virginity

Noooo I meant my Mom said NOT to use tampons BEFORE losing your virginity.
Unless someone cummed on the tampon before you use it, you can't lose your virginity ;)
