The heart monitors from the rooms next door gave an eerie feel.

Ginger suddenly let go of Dustin Smith's hand. She picked up a chart and red it.
NAME:Dustin Jay Smith
AGE:17
PARENTS:Lily and Oscar Smith
Ginger froze. Those are the names of my real parents... She thought,freaked out. She put the chart down and held Dustin's hand tightly. "Hi...brother." she whispered softly. -
His body lay still on the bed. The heart monitor was deadly quiet.

Ginger's eyes teared up. "Don't leave me,Dustin. Please." she whispered.

All of a sudden, the monitor flat lined, a loud steady beeeeeep sounding throughout the room. The nurse came in at that point and shut off all life support. She flipped the sheet over his head.

Ginger stared at Dustin. "What??" NO!!!!" Ginger screamed. She fell to the floor bursting into tears. "Ginger,it will-" Amien said,getting cut off by Ginger crying more louder.

"Girls, I'm going to have to ask you to leave in the next 20 minutes. We have to get him over to a funeral home so we can use this room for some one else. Thanks you." The nurse walked out of the room.

Ginger tried to stop crying,but couldn't. Amien got Ginger out of the room with Poppy following them.

His parents made the phone calls around to the family, and organized the funeral and wake. The wake would be the next night.

Ginger saw the funeral for Dustin and walked in. "Who are you?" a tall women with black hair asked her. "Im...Im Ginger Anne Smith,Dustin's younger sister." she answered,grabing onto her white dress.

"I didn't know he had a younger sister." The woman moved on. Dustin's father looked over at a girl in a white dress. "Oh my god... Honey, look!" They both couldn't believe she was here.

Ginger blushed a little. Was she actually missed?

"It can't be..." his mother rushed over, her eyes welling up with tears. "Ginger, honey? Is that you?"

"Yes." she answered. Ginger smiled a little that no one can notice.

She wrapped her arms around her.
