Alex tried to put her at ease.
"Dont worry.The best thing i can advise you to do is to stay away from the teachers. They want to find out your secret power. Not many people have it, so they get excited everytime they sense someone has one. They did the same with me. NEVER tell them anything Peyton. They will want to use you for some twisted plot. Stay away from them. Okay?
Alex stared at her until she gave a reaction. -
She breathed in and out, then stopped.
"Wait.. how do you know about my," She whispered the next part. "Secret power? And, yea, okay. I'll stay away." She has never talked like this, just blabbing away. It was kind of nice, not being so quiet. -
" People who have powers can find a fellow person thats the same from a mile away. I work it out ages ago. And i think your suspicions arised about me too. I guess you were nearly there working it out. There isnt just you and me. There is around 5 others, but i havent seen them in a while and i think thats due to the teachers. Dont even tell your friends okay?

Peyton looked up at Alex when he said the last sentence.
"Oh. You dont have to worry about my... friends." Then she turned and walked away from were Alex is standing. She tried not to look back, but she couldn't help it. She managed to only look sideways. -
Alex looked around to see if no-body was looking. Within a split second, he appeared in front of Peyton, while at the same time was standing in his original space.

Peyton let out a small scream. Then she looked behind her and saw Alex still there. She looked infront of her again. Alex.
"What the?! Okay. Whoa." She steadied herself and stumbled over to the bench. She sat. "Gosh, this is a lot. Why did you do that?" -
Alex merged into one and stood infront of Peyton.
" One more thing. DO NOT come near the school these holidays. Understand?" -
Peyton looked up at Alex.
"This is so weird. But, yes, I wont come. But, what if they come to my house? That'd be stalker-ish, though. And weird. This is weird. Do I have a power?" She held her breath. She was talking to much. Way over her limit. -
"It would be stalkerish. But they shouldnt. They have only done that once before. It wouldnt be unlikely for them to do it again. Yes you do have a power Peyton, but it is only up to you to work it out.The majority of powers are linked with the 4 elements. Mine is linked with Air. In time it'll come to you"

"Oh, okay. I really do have to get home, though. See you after holiday?" Peyton didn't need to get home so fast, she just needed to be alone. She got up and looked at Alex.
"I think mine is linked with Earth. I have explosion." She said to him, biting her lip. -
"It might be earth or fire. Its only for you to work out. Your right. You'd best be going."

Peyton nodded and walked away from Alex. She only lived a block from the school. She ran the whole way. As soon as she got to her front porch, she could hear her parents yelling at each other again. She sighed and opened the door. Her older sister, Lucy, smiled when she saw her.
"Peyton, come on!" She grabbed her hand and ran up to her room.
"Fighting again?" Peyton said. Lucy nodded.
"Can't wait to move out." -
Alex went on a hunt to see what the mystery was. He looked in every classroom. Nothing. He saw Mr Percival walking out of the school building. The teacher stopped and turned around. Alex moved just in time. He continued to search. Just before he gave up, he heard a huge smash from underneath. He ran all the way to the end of the corridor and down 3 flights of stairs. He reached the underground of the school..where..

Peyton looked at her sister and nodded.
"Yeah... me too." She said. Peyton's stomache felt queezy all of a sudden.
"Hey, Luc. Im going to take a walk through the park." Peyton said to her sister. Lucy nodded and picked up a book.
Peyton ran out of the house and looked towards the school. She shook her head and walked the opposite way. To the park. -
..the door was locked. Alex tried to open the lock..but he couldnt. Then, the locked turned. His face dropped with panic as he watched the lock turn.
"Of course! He said to himself"
He vapourised into thin air. Out, came two teachers..with thier faces swirling with worry. Alex wooshed into the room in the form of air. He found..
