Because many types of music can hurt our planet. Instruments, cds, so many things involved in music are hurtful. Really, I doubt there is any way we can not impact the world even a little bit. Because we all have to eat, drink, relieve ourselves, and breathe. Even death can hurt our environment.

God didn't create - at least I think - animals to be less valued or respected as us humans. That aspect, I think, is just us humans in today's modern society; because an animal to some is not as valuable as a human. It's just the way some of us perceive things, it may be a wrong perception but it just is the perception nowadays.
As for us all being 'wretched' human beings that honestly is quite a long story. But have you ever consider that animals may also be 'wretched'? They kill; they are actually quite intelligent;they can also be kind and strong. Those actions can be used to either fellow animals and also humans.
Aren't animals just as 'wretched' as we humans? -

I believe in God, and I believe God made us smarter than animals.
I don't believe that the only reason they're here is so we can have food, and I most certiantly do NOT support just killing animals for sport.
I believe there are only two reasons to kill anything:
If you need it for food, or if it's trying to kill you.
Animals eat other animals - it's how the world works. It's normal. What isn't normal...well, it's normal I guess, but it shouldn't be....and very cruel is when humans kill and abuse animals who have never done anything to them.
Just because we were made smarter and more complex doesn't mean we have the right to do whatever we please to animals.
Heck, even if it's trying to kill you, or if you're going to eat it, kill it quickly, don't TORTURE it. -

The Coldest Sun NewbieLeah- Animals are not wretched. Animals defend themselves, and defend what little they have left. Animals kill to eat, and to defend themselves. They know what they must to survive, not jumping off a cliff, don't pick a fight with something bigger than you.. (clever them; they've already figured out many things that humankind has yet to grasp) And they know how to enjoy themselves, like to sunbathe, or run freely in lush grass under a wonderful moon. The simple means to life and happiness, and it costs them nothing. And yes, some are kind. They know that some humans are not so bad. They know that some of us understand what is happening to their kingdom, and are truly sorry for it. Yes, they are strong. But imagine: how many of them use this to hurt us? Unprovoked? Dogs have the capacity and the strength to finish off the human race, but they do not. Many humans have found themselves with similar strength, and have used it most horribly. The animals highlight what I wish we could all become.
Madid- I do not believe in a God either.
Think about it- in the Bible, it is said that "God" strikes down those who are evil and only pollute the world with their unholiness. If that is true, why was it left to the American troops to locate Bin Laden? And why is Warren Jeffs still alive? I used to believe that there truky was a God, but I was little, and even more of a moron than I am now. Things have changed- I have seen that there is no evidence of his existence. And things have happened to this world that a holy being would not allow, if he was reaal.
Nakita- For all we know, we are not so complex. Maybe the animals have deep thoughts, ones that make us all look stupid. Because they can not speak, they are assumed dumb?
So what if cats run into walls chasing laser pointers? We know that if the red dot was solid, they would have caught it.
So what if raccoons run directly under the wheels of oncoming vehicles? Perhaps they know somethign that we do not- that the cars should not exist, anyway.
So what if birds fly into airplanes? They know that man was never meant to fly-that it is wrong for them to even have to worry about such a thing.
Maybe animals are smarter than us?

My point was that animals shouldn't be abused, wether we're smarter than them or not. -.-
