Gift stood up with Trinket, and the two started toward their house. It was made of bamboo and palm wood, very beautiful and simple.

A group of Irimotes came out of the trees. Maybe around ten.
Sandcats crawled out of their burrows in the sand, joining them.
It was a full moon. -

Soon Gift scampered out, being the tiniest of them all, she scampered over beside Trinket. -
