I had a soap idea. :P
So, let's say that there's a group of kids who live at an orphanage. Because they're orphans (Um, duh, Naki), or at least their parents can't take care of them for some reason (like if they were teenagers, or if they're in jail, or if they were poor and didn't have the money to feed a child, etc.).
So one day this group of kids who pretty much hate their life at this orphanage decide to run off at night, into the forests behind the orphanage.
They come across a few signs that warn them not to tresspass, but the kids take it as a joke, as they've never heard of anybody living back there. So they keep going deeper into the woods, until they're suddenly attacked by a group of animals. The children are knocked out, and dragged away by the animals. When they wake up again, they find themselves in a mansion known as Catahecassa Manor. Catahecassa Manor is the mansion of Lady Sixsipita Gethin, who is one-third demon, one-third angel, and one-third...something else. :P Sixsipita has been trained as a sorceress. She was an apprentice for nine years, then killed her mentor to take hsi power as well.
Where'd the animals come from?
Lady Sixsipita has given them the power of speech, and sometimes other powers as well. In return, she expects them to become her servants. And they do.
Because the group of children are young, she spares their lives, instead of eating them like she ahd originally planned.
But there's a catch - she spares their lives, but they must work for her as servants for the rest of theri lives.
The work is normal tasks such as housework around Catahecassa Manor, but it is also the not-so-easy tasks, such as going into the city to find food for Lady Sixsipita.
Because oh, did I mention? Sixsipita's diet contains of mainly humans. ^^

hetty turned over in her sleep. Her head bashed against the bedside table, waking her up. She yelped, then looked around to see if she'd woken any of the other girls up. -
