As I walked to English, something caught my eye. Outside. A pale man was standing in front if the doors staring at Skyler and I. His eyes were red, and he was very ghost-like. "Skyler," I said. "Do you see him, too?"

"yeah, his eyes look so much like mine. His are darker though." skyler responded. She felt oddly attracted to this strange man. She took a half step twards the window.

"Let's skip. C'mon. I wanna know who he is and why he's looking at US. Let's go, hurry!" I pulled her arm to follow me. He wasn't human. And I know it. He's not like the rest of us though.

Skyler was already half way out the door, she was a good sprinter and was down half the hallway in. A few strides. She ran out of the back stair well. And as soon as she walked in the camera literally exploded in. A mas of sparks and metal. She ran down the stairs and jumped half of the last flight.

"Skyler!" I yelled. Ash and fire poured down in front o me. No way out. I was still human. I haven't changed yet. I chocked on the smoke. "Skyler!" I yelled, falling down onto my knees. I couldn't hear anything, and my sight was hazy. I felt cold, rock hard arms pick me up. I tried to speak but nothing came out. "Skyler?" I croaked out in a whisper.

Skyler turned and saw almost the entire building go up in flames. Where was Rae? Where was that man-thing she looked through the ash and smoke, she could see suprisingly well, she sprinted through the wreckage, she finally saw the man thing, and he was holding Rae, she ran as fast as she could twards him, Skyler didn't care if she got hurt. She wanted her friend to be safe. "hey!! What are you doing with my friend?!" she yelled, Skyler was still about 50 yards away. Though, when she got there she almost forgot how to brethe. His eyes were the exact color as hers. A deep maroon blood red. She took a half step back, Rae was in his arms, lifeless
