Rain, her roommate, tossed a pillow in her face the moment she came in.
Minerva laughed, and threw a pillow back at the wind elementist. -
He locked himself in the room and reached under his bed, pulling out a box full of odds and ends. He pulled out an old candy wrapper and grimaced, memories and emotions that weren't his flooding his mind. Anger, frustration, betrayal... THEY DID THIS TO ME. THEY DESERVE TO DIE... His psychopath brother's thoughts swarmed in his head; so powerful that his vision was blurred. He quickly dropped the wrapper, breathing hard.

She was the only girl in the entire school who didn't have a roomate. When she enrolled they already had an even number, so she was alone most the time.

The first class was about to start, one that made each kid show their powers in front of everyone.
Rain and Minerva walked down the hall, starting toward the gym.
