  Father - Helped conceve the child.
  Dad - Takes care of and helps the child move on in life in hope that it'll be successful.
  
  Mother - Gave birth to the child.
  Mom - Cares about and supports the child's ideas and plans for the future.
  
  There are differences between these similar words. We should learn them well.
