Heph had been beside Ting, and now had the o.o face. She howled, then called frantically and pointlessly "Tingy Ting Tingity?"

Tngy had disappeared, grabbed by another of her kin, what was left in her place was a small somewhat burnt note.

Heph sniffed the note, and called "Lizzzz come here!"

Liz did as she was told, and picked up the note.

The note was written in quite fancy handwriting in silvery blue ink, "Hi, I need borrow Ting for a while, you will meet a substitute on the next island, until then, toodle-loos!"
meanwhile, Tingy had been dragged back down into the shadow demon dimension, she was sitting on the ground in the grass, it looked just like the human world, only poorly lit, and everything was tinged black. (should i also say wuts going on where ting is?) -

"I dunno?" Liz replied, putting the note in the crows nest for safe keeping. -
They were approaching the next island, but it needed careful navigating to get there safely, there were many rocks in the waters.
Tingy looked around and blinked, rubbing her eyes, "man...I really have been on eartrh too long." she mumbled to herself, everything looked too dark to see, and she couldn't pull out a flashlight without getting arrested or cast out into the outlands.
