Xavier glanced at the calendar on the wall. June 3rd... Prom night. He sat up, cringing from the pain. He needed to give Gabi that special dance, if it was the last thing he would ever do. -
Gabi had just finished putting on her dress;
And her hair was done up in a bun, she headed off to the hospital, where she would spend his land night with her. -
(:'o ish so prettiful....)
Xavier got up and slowly limped to the bathroom and changed into a tux, tying his tie slowly. Even things as simple as breathing were troubling him. -
(I know right!)
She told the secratary where she was going and headed up to Xavier's room. -
Xavier sat down on the edge of his bed and coughed. It escalated to the point to when he felt like he was suffocating. As quickly as it had came, it went, leaving him winded and worn down. He looked up as the door clicked open. Gabi stood in the doorway, looking absolutely gorgeous.

She almost ran to him, then slowly gave him a hug, "How are you feeling? Any better?"

He hugged her back and sighed. "Physically, no... But my heart... it's happy as long as you're here."

She smiled, "Xaiver, I told them about me taking you to prom, they disagreed, but I have them another proposition, and they said yes to that, so we're gonna have our prom right here," She said grinning.

He smiled and kissed her gently. "You're the best."

She kissed him back softly, "I disagree," she said placing the portable radio she had brought with her on the TV.

"Before we officially start our prom... Can you promise me something first?"

"Anything," She said without hesitation.

"When..." he took a small breath and looked into her eyes. "When you hug me for the last time... Don't let go."

"I.. Won't..I promise," She said, eyes full of tears.
