At around 3am the nurse came in and changed the bag on the IV again.

Corrie sighed, listening to the faint sound of spin the bottle on the apartment above her. (That is a really random idea I had. That Gabi, Xavier and Corrie have a spin the bottle and Corrie has to kiss Xavier.) (There are other people there.)

Gabi fell asleep again and woke up the next morning at 9:47. -
(Oh. Then... nevermind...)

The next morning Xavier awoke to knock on the door. The nurse came in with a tray of breakfast for him. "Good morning, Xavier," she said, carrying it in and placing it on the little slide-out table. "Morning," he replied.

Corrie held her pet snake in her pocket, the venom feeling like drinking Coke.

She put on some casual clothes and sat up in her bed.

She called Gabi once again. "Can you at least eat breakfast with me?"

Xavier ate some of his breakfast. He ate slowly, finally feeling the impact of the accident. He ached everywhere, the gash on his forehead stang. His arm, which was in a cast, hurt, but also his fractured ribs.
