cody sat there hidden, he was waiting for chevelle to leave so he could get her food

I caught a glimpse of something in the shadows, lurking and watching me. I decided to stay at my spot, in case they needed my supplies. Food, aid, and water was scarce. I couldn't afford losing all of which I had earned.

cody knew that chevelle felt like she was being watched, because he noticed that she decided to stay, so he quietly walked away, he suddenly saw a unicorn, wait, a unicorn??? he was confused, he thought unicorns weren't real, he imagined himself riding on one, he quickly snapped out of it and ran towards it, but it was actually a live size of it, but it was made of cardboard, by the time he realized, it was too late, he ran into it by mistake and fell over

There was a crash. I wanted to sprint off to see what it was, but didn't want to get into the heap of the battle if there was one.
