Yukio walked back to the girls' table with the coffees. "There you are," he said, placing the hot mugs on the table along with a pitcher for refills. "Your total is $3.50. You can just leave the money on the table on your way out if you like."

"Alrighty." Toka said.

Yukio walked to the back room and took off his apron, grabbed a Coke, and headed out the back door for his break.

Toka took a sip of her coffee and placed it back down quickly, "damn that's hot." she stated, sticking her tongue out. Nova chuckled at her sister and continued to drink her coffee.

Yukio kept trying to place the faces of the girls to names of people he knew from school, but he couldn't remember who they were.

Toka looked at Nova, "So, do you know him or not?" she asked, Nova was done her coffee and left 5 dollars on the table and looked at Toka, "I think so. Yukio I think his name was."

Yukio sighed and drowned the last of his Coke and headed inside to begin his next shift.
