I need to rant about bees for a hot minute because I’m still hyperfixated read it or don’t
Sososo you can BUY a whole ass BEE online which is so bizarre but like I want to
You can buy queen bees but in order for them to be in a hive you have to put them in boxes with enough food and stuff for them to survive for a while and you put it either outside or inside the hive
The worker bees and drones will then f---ing EAT the matchbox because they can smell food in there and while they do so it gives the queen bee enough time to gain the scent of the hive bc every hive has a different scent and if you put a bee that has a different scent in a different hive every other bee will go ballistic and murder the smelly bee (especially if they’re a queen bee) so the queen bee has to smell like the other bees so she won’t DIE
So once she does smell like the hive and the other bees have gobbled up the box there are two things that could happen either both queens will fight to the death to be the Chosen One or some worker bees and drones will abandon their old hive to start a new one with the new queen bee which I think is savage
