also I love how you can literally buy a queen bee in the mail. Idk if it’s the same for america but there is literally a company that breeds queen bees and posts them to you -

Worker bees live up to 6-8 weeks and are all females and male bees are practically useless unless they’re mating with the queen who usually mates with a whole swarm and can lay up to 2500 eggs per day and the larvae are fed like a brew thing that’s not honey and if the workers don’t like their queen then they’ll feed a larvae a jelly type thing and the two queens will basically battle it to the death and every bee in each hive smells like their queen so if you put a new queen in a hive she’ll be immediately killed bc she doesn’t smell right and one bee produces half a tablespoon of honey in their lives and holy s--- that’s a lot but I got more -

Okay so basically you put the queen bee in a matchbox and put food like candy things in there so she can survive and breath and the other bees will eat their way through the box to get to the food and by the time they do the queen has adapted to the smell of the hive and she and the original queen will be like hunger games and f---ing fight to the death- either that or the new queen will take either an amount or the whole amount of worker bees and stuff with her and fly away to start a new colony and hive and shizz
And honey is basically just bee puke -

Ikr it’s so cool- also if bees are inbred they’ll be like really aggressive but they’ll be calmer if their queen is regularly changed I think
