why is there not a movie adaptation for this- I feel like it'd be right up Hollywood's alley honestly, it's got a strong fanbase from pretty much every generation (other than gen alpha I'm assuming lol), it has a gladiator vibe in terms of wAr, and the book is so descriptive that it just makes sense

we're reading the Odyssey in English class now
I think I became my English teachers favorite because I asked if Apollo was as much of a stone cold b---- in the Odyssey as he was in the Iliad (in much more teacher student friendly words of course) -
And my old English teacher saw that I finished Song of Achilles on goodreads and told me I could come in her class and vent about it whenever I wanted lmaoooo
