Because how would you burn a stove with water- -
I looked it up and using baking soda and vinegar seems to be the most popular solution
-
So apparently it was too much salt in the water and the oven was on too high- :,D

I’m very happy my mom didn’t kill me on the spot when she saw it lmao
Then again it wasn’t her precious lil pressure cooker so ig it was all okay it the end as long as I didn’t burn or dent or come near any of her things -
For future knowledge, when you're making pasta, it's best to let the water boil BEFORE you add the salt. Putting salt in water prolongs the time it takes to boil the water, so I imagine if you put a bunch of salt in it, you probably turned the stove up too high since the water wasn't coming to a boil.
