Just so y'all know, I'm happy with my skin color. It doesn't make me any different that the lightest person out there. Besides, diversity is beauty. I used to be jealous for not being light, but, having this relationship with Brandan has made me realize the beauty in our differences. We're so vastly different that it leaves us in awe, sometimes, as we wonder what our children will look like, or even how the other sees our traits as unique when we see it as nothing special.
