Right now, it's a really dark-blue, almost black, because it's 10pm

The sky doesn't have a color. What we see is reflected light bouncing off the upper atmosphere

How many stars, roughly, can you see in the nighttime sky

Unaided, you can see roughly 4.5 thousand stars in the nighttime sky

And if you need them but don't wear your glasses or contacts, you can see one BIG blurry star!!

Or just nothing but the inky blackness of space

If I'm not wearing my glasses, I can hardly see any stars. If I am, I can see as many as this atmosphere and my eyes allow, but I seldom go outside to see them, so most of the time, none.
