Spend a day window shopping. Go to the mall or a plaza or Hobby Lobby or some place with a variety of stores or well-rounded merchandise. Point out to them the things you like or don't like, the intricacies of your interests and styles, and so on.
1. They get an idea of what you want and like.
2. It feels like they put more thought into what. to get you because they're not just looking off a list
3. You're spending quality time with your parents.
