Self checkout or cashier lines?

I see SO many people complaining about self checkouts growing in grocery stores. A lot of people think it's inconvenient and "not their job," but I see it as a lot faster and convenient and it gets everyone in and out so much faster.
Also, cashier jobs are terrible. I wouldn't wish anyone be forced to do it for eight hours a day if there's an better job they could have.
Which do you prefer? I personally prefer self checkout but I'd really like to hear why you prefer one or the other -
I like self check out bc I don't like ppl /j
But yea I do prefer self check out and actively seek to avoid the cashier lines when and where I can lol. I believe in self checkout superiority -
I like not going into the store at all

Self-checkout bc I have intense social anxiety. But usually when we go to the store I don't make it that far LOL. I'm a wait-in-the-car kind of guy
