Crazy, all christian students i've come across have a pretty low IQ, hate school and scale through with major E's and minor F's.
I hate it when some christian people carry it as a label on their foreheads. You're christian. We know.
The difference is, no lgbtq+ people are saying all Christians should be killed when that's a common rhetoric among religious bigo -

I've never heard lbgtq+ people say all christians should be killed, what i've heard instead is maybe one or two instances of of a member being toxic and telling Christians to stop being Chrisitian, and this one absolute karen of a woman screeching at pastor(?) because he was preaching on a quote "Gay street"
(And the screeching part is literal.) -

I can't speak for chainsaw directly, but I'm fairly certain this thread is entirely hyperbolic and not meant to be a real criticism of Christianity. -

Oh yeah I was referencing some very hateful remarks ThatCoolPerson made. Basically replace the word "Christian" with LGBTQ+ in the first two sentences of the first post in this thread. My commentary was cut off because I early submitted but I've seen clips of multiple preachers and pastors calling for the murder of LGBTQ+ individuals - I can provide links and screenshots later today if anyone would like.
But yeah this is not at all how I feel! Idgaf if you believe in the Christian god... so as long as you're not spewing hateful propaganda. In which case I will not be exercising patience or respect ✨ -

Thank you for elaborating but I have to say Chainsaw, I don't really appreciate being generalized and insulted. I know what you were going for but it still hurts, especially since I already experience hate towards my religion from friends outside of GTQ

girlie i was quoting ThatCoolPerson, and replacing the word LGBTQ+ with Christian. Lol. I was not making a generalization, I was helping him understand.

I was going to link the video with the Christian preacher making the comments I mentioned but, SHOCKER, there's so freaking many that I can't even find the specific one I was looking for. I know hearing that people believe those things is uncomfortable. This isn't a criticism on you. I know YOU don't feel that way. But people within your community do. Homophobic beliefs are usually driven by religion, and as someone who was raised in the church, I don't get how 'love thy neighbor" translates to 'your neighbor isn't worthy of love unless they're exactly what you want them to be.'
Idk, maybe I'm connecting things that don't have to be connected, but I was considering my audience. TCP has mentioned their faith, like I said, I was trying to get them to understand.
I should have done better to make my point clearer to avoid this confusion but I am not the sharpest tool in the box.
