I've got a load of MegaDrive, Arcade, SNES, and N64 roms with a few ps1 and GC games. Also have a ton packed onto my Retroid for the plane ride in a month.

But most of my gc stuff is physical!! I am big into gamecube and ps1 collecting. I have a lot of imported games, as its how i build my skill at japanese -
That's so sad, I wish I had my wii so I could still play my original copies of gc games. Jealous ;-;
The only physicals I really have anymore are ps2 and ps1 games
I'd start a collection but I already have to leave so much stuff behind when I move. I may just be having to stick to record collecting for the time being. Bc those babies are coming with me 100% -

and it's okay! A fresh start is always nice, just no way I'm leaving my records and CDs behind even though I'll have to buy a new player, shipping my old one couldnt work since its old and bulky. The record box is already 58 pounds. -
I feel that, I dont have that big of a physical music collection. (The only physical music cds i have arent much besides some local bands i saw, some preorder bonuses for games, and a copy of if only you were lonely by hawthorne heights) the hawthorne heights album highkey is really special and precious to me because that album got me through some really rough s---. All of my music is mainly digital, with some tracks i bought legally and some i had to dl because the bands arent around anymore -
omggggggg that collection is pretty much everything I grew up on!!! ;-; nice! also love the boxes for the JP releases.
For me I mostly use Spotify throughout the day so I don't really have a lot downloaded but I always love getting back home and throwing on my EKG headphones for an album or two just to relax. y'know *insert horribly long winded explanation about how much better hifi sounds here* -
The japanese boxes are so cool but are so hard to keep prisitine. I havent found any without cosmetic damages :((

for me it's usually death metal, doom metal, alternative/weird bands, and psychedelic stuff! My current fav is between Quebec by Ween and Animals by Pink Floyd! -
Doom metal is a genre i want to get into but my only exposure to it rn is solitude by candlemass
