forcing myself to call my gf by her name occasionally even though she's everything to me and I just want to call her cute little pet names forever bc I remember her complaining about an ex that never used her name, ever

of course, her complaint about that guy was primarily that instead of her name he'd just call her "you" or something
might be completely different, but better safe then sorry -
a small child was getting himself a donut while I was perusing the cake case singing to myself and the boy froze and was just staring at me and eventually I'm like "...you need help??"

adults say things just to make you feel good, kids say them because they mean them and that just made my night lmao -
tired of working late
like it's not even actually late but my dad goes to sleep so god awfully early that I haven't gotten to hang out with him in like a week -
also? not liking that I never get a weekend off. or even a day out of the weekend. I know no one else wants to work them but those are my big days to see my family and the others aren't any more important than me.
