Why do I have to put up with this s---?

They call me selfish when I make my own food. They deny my help when I offer to cook something. They don't want me in the kitchen while they cook, but they do this.

Last night, I wasn't here, and maybe they assumed that I ate, even though I told them I wouldn't hair time to. Without scarfing down my food, how am I supposed to eat an actual meal within 15 minutes?

There are a lot of reasons they may or may not be in your life. And that's totally fine! But the most important thing I've learned is that you don't need to feel guilty for not having a relationship with your extended family. Blood doesn't mean they get an automatic pass into your life. -
