oh god I have not been on in a while-
-
I watched the pearl movie and the barbarian movie recently.
The pearl movie was good, but had some disturbing parts. The film making and editing was very high quality however.
The barbarian movie was a mistake to even go to. -
Are those movies in theatres?
-
For me yeah, both of them are in theaters now currently.

I wish people would stop using the r word as an insult. I mean, I know it's technically not a bad word, but still. I am autistic, and was diagnosed when I was a toddler or something. Idk when I was just really young. I had to go to special classes to learn and understand social cues, all the way into my first year of junior high. Being autistic has affected me, both negatively and positively. Hearing people in the hallway calling each other the r word and throwing it around as an insult as nuerotypical people, doesn't sit too right with me. I never say anything about it however, I don't want to make people too aware I'm autistic since they might judge me.

:0000 Daveed Diggs is going to be Sebastian in the live action little mermaid, I'm so excited!

So I saw the new Halloween movie this night. It was different, but not bad. Like there were aspects of the previous movies but new elements. I'm not gonna spoil anything but I think it leaned into the story telling more than the actual killing. (There was a lot of killing still though.) It was really good though, and I enjoyed it.

I also watched the new Hocus Pocus movie earlier this month, and I thought it was ok. The story was a bit corny, but anything with the original sanderson sisters in it can't be bad. You can put them in a back pain commercial, and they would somehow make it exciting.

I saw trailers in the theater, and I don't know the name of the movie, but I know it's gonna be LEGENDARY.
-
David Harbour (Hopper in Stranger Things) is Santa Claus. He beats up people to save a family from robbers. I love it, and know he's gonna nail it. Especially having seen that video where he pretends to be eleven, the casting is genius.

I'm gonna rot my teeth with candy corn and not regret a thing

(Spoilers) (TW) I have a theory about Halloween Ends. I'm gonna call it now, so if it is true I can feel smart, but it probably isn't true. I believe the series isn't over. I mean every few years they say it's the last one and it never is. The actor for Laurie says she isn't going to star in any more movies in the Halloween franchise, so I believe they are going to shift focus from her and Micheal Myers's story to another. Micheal Myers is supposedly dead, but i don't believe the series is over. It just won't focus on him. He is the titular antagonist for the series, but the series is called 'Halloween,' not 'Micheal Myers,' unlike the Chucky or Annabelle series, his role isn't set in stone.
I believe the next movie will be about Corey. If you think about it, he makes up the majority of the plot of Halloween Ends, taking up more screen time than Micheal Myers himself. It would be strange for him to not be relevant. This movie was his origin story, explaining how he became evil, and it can be expanded on. By focusing on Corey, the writers could focus on anyone they want, bringing old characters back into the story, and leaving out ones they don't need. Laurie's actor wouldn't need to be brought back, since it would only be mandatory for her to be in a film if Micheal Myers is there. This is speculation, but I have evidence to back it up. Everyone knows Micheal Myers can come back from the dead. Micheal Myers passed on his powers supposedly to Corey, since his evil was contagious? or passeable or something, idk. Corey dies in Halloween Ends by stabbing himself, and is pretty dead. But once Micheal Myers comes to the house, he comes back to life, before being killed once more by Micheal Myers. Micheal Myers dies in the film, and his body is disposed of completely. Corey's body on the other hand, is not. We know now he can come up back to life just like Micheal Myers. His body still exists, and I don't think he's going to choose to stay dead.
It would make sense for Corey to take up the role as the next masked killer since he was literally taught by Micheal Myers, and taking his spot once he is gone, would just make sense. After all Laurie did say, 'evil doesn't die, it just takes another form.' She found closure with her boogeyman, but that doesn't mean nothing terrible is going to happen to the town again. Evil is just going to find another shape.
Also if you look at what the Scream franchise did it would make sense for the directors to make this decision. The newest Scream movie revamped the series with new characters but some of the same memorable characters. It wouldn't be surprising if the Halloween franchise did the same. Anyways that is my theory. -
(Spoilers) (Continued post for a theory I have on Halloween Ends, don't read if you haven't watched) Also in the beginning of the movie, they state, on the news, Micheal Myers house was torn down. If Micheal Myers body somehow reforms, and he comes back to life, he would have nowhere to go. Some of the Halloween series, Micheal Myers is elsewhere, but most of the movies focus on the house. He always goes back to it. Sure, in Halloween Ends, he doesn't live in it, instead in a sewer like a rat or a teenage mutant ninja turtle, but it just wouldn't be the same to bring him back without his house, as it is a crucial plot point in almost all the movies. I also don't think the theory that the whole movie didn't happen is true. What I mean, is there is a theory that none of the events of the movie happened, since Laurie was writing a book about it, she made stuff up. I think this theory would be confusing if it was proven true in the next movie. It would completely ruin the theme of closure in the movie, and make Halloween Ends existence unecessary. I also don't think it is possible, as again, Laurie's actor isn't coming back to the Halloween franchise.

Idk why but I found the trailer for this horror movie 'Meghan' hilarious. Like it would cut to the AI robot girl dancing between serious moments, and she danced better than me. And I just found it so funny that the little girl's voice (the main character's voice) says "What's wrong with you?!" as the robot girl is doing a literal aerial (cartwheel but with no hands) I also found it funny that earlier in the trailer, this boy is being mean, so she tells him he should run, and then literally gets on all fours to chase him like some sort of demonic dog.

(Spoilers for Hocus Pocus 2) I just realized something about Hocus Pocus 2. In the first movie Winnifred calls Max an idiot for 'trading thy life for thy sisters' when he drinks the potion thing to save his younger sister. In the second movie, Winnifred ends up seeing her sisters die, then chooses also to die, to be with them. She trades her life for her sisters, her younger sisters; just like Max almost did in the first movie.
