Squishmallows are super cute, I love them.
I'm super sad though because my mom loves them and every Halloween she wants one of the seasonal big candy corn squishmallows but they sell out in hours bc the squishmallows people come in and buy them all.
Like I'll see one person buy all of them as soon as they're put out and no one stops them. Its just a stuffed animal, but I have this slight annoyance towards collectors for buying them all up like that because casual squishmallow people can't get them easily. It's not necessarily collectors fault, it's the supply and demand as well but it makes me sad that she can't get one.
Her first squishmallow was a candy corn that she named "Harvey" short for "Harvest" and it was her pride and joy. One of these years I hope I can get her the bigger one.
Anyways like I said, does anyone else have this problem? Should I try to get it online? I had someone steal my collectable stuffed cat from my car and it was deviating. I don't understand how people can be so vicious over them. -
Yes all the time. Over here in nz, it's really difficult to find stores which sell them and even worse is that they're sold out almost immediately once stores do finally get them back in stock. You have to get in right as they've been stocked basically. Stores also have ppl added to a call list so that ppl looking to buy know exactly when Ne stock gets put out 😭 i love love love all the sea animal or water based creatures squishmallows and want to collect them all but it's sooo hard to get in before anybody else. Especially since ppl hoard them and then upsell them on ebay and other websites for ridiculous pricing

don't collect but when I got my covid shot I got really sick and my girlfriend ordered me a bee squishmallow, but it was from some shady scam website on accident. we had a laugh about it but then a few months later I got something in the mail and it was the squishmallow. no tag, definitely a knockoff. but I love it LOL it's very soft, feels like a real one

So, I'm not a collector? But my friend works at a discount place, so she can get squishmallows super super cheap, so she'll surprise me with them randomly
