Researching the people running for governor in my state. It's crazy how hard it is to find what they actually endorse.

I wish politicians didn't purposely hide their goals and opinions.
I would like someone who's going to firstly take care of our homelessness crisis. If you don't care about the crippling cost of living & rising drug additions then I just can't support you. Not when the youth are dying from opioids at alarming rates. Not when my town is rated a 2/10 on the affordability scale & it's not even a major city. -
My only concern is that none of the candidates seem to understand how drug abuse and homelessness is a byproduct of poor economic opportunity & mental health resources. They all seem to criminalize drugs as the antithesis of why people are homeless, and they don't see them as the victims of the world we created.
Its probably too much to ask that politicians be educated on the neuroscience of drugs & also how suburbanization leads to higher mental health & drug abuse problems.
Get to the root, you silly geese. -
I don't want them to criminalize drugs again. I don't want to put people in jails because it's easier than them being homeless. I think that's such a cop out. Make housing and healthcare affordable. Of course no one cares to get off the streets when the median cost of housing is $1,800 a month.

Also if any of you ask for heavy cream in your drink, can you explain why you do that? I'm a fan of breves but heavy whipping cream seems weird to me -
