I'm poor but if you need it I'll find some money -
It'll be okay! I can Instacart if I need more money it is just really upsetting because I just got a second job last money so I could actually be able to save up enough money to get out of our apartment and now I'll make less money than I would've without my second job

When I started working here I was excited to work local but I no longer feel like my boss supports the same values I do
He exclusively hires women, but won't hire women with tattoos or piercings.
He claims it's our fault the business isn't doing as well this year, not the economy or the fact that he refuses to adapt his business model to better serve the current industry
He holds his "approval" over his employees heads, refusing to give us the hours we need and then gets mad at us when we take on second jobs
I have been told the sky is the limit in my position but given none of the tools to actually make my work profitable for the busines
The marketing team is out of touch with everything and everything here just feels stagnant. I show up because I like the job itself and the work I do but there's no opportunities for growth. Any attempt to create innovation is shot down and now he shows up with a brand new Mercedes complaining about how we didn't hit the numbers he wanted this summer -
Now compare that to my coffee shop job where my bosses are LGBT and all the cards are stacked against them but they are innovative and treat their employees with kindness. They don't bring in nearly as much money as he does but still they offer us benefits I never got here. They know how to move when the industry says move and I respect that so much more than his "I'm a business man" bulls---.
