Twitter, as a singular united entity, did not "try to cancel pewdiepie," no. But he has said the n word on stream and has been very antisemitic publicly before, so if some people stopped supporting him, that would probably be why

Well yeah, and people are allowed to be upset about that. Pewdiepie has a pretty long history of saying something problematic then going "hehe oops sorry" so it's understandable if some people don't like him
