Q. What is Memoria?
A. The Isle of Memoria is a project I've been working on for a while now, meant to both encourage creativity and community.
The more fictional aspect is a large archipelago, covered in mist.
On the centre of the island is the Academy of tuairim, where visitors to the Isle go to learn about the Mothú that inhabit the island.
Q. What is a Mothú?
A. The Mothú are a fantastical race of beings created from residual emotions of those that visited the island in the past. Each Mothú species represent a specific element of the Psyche, mainly emotions.
They can be earned as rewards for participating in events, found during games I'll post in the arcade, or even just given to people.
Every user is able to ask for one starter from a specific group!
Each person gets a unique design.
Q. Is this a roleplay/should it be on the stage.
A. No, this isn't actually a roleplay. While there are fantastical elements to the world, it's actually a collection of different topics.
There's creative writing, games, psychology, roleplay etc. And thus, fits into a general category.
I'm fully open to people making their own threads or getting inspired by this if they end up liking the idea.
Q. Is this like pokemon?
A. Yep! It's basically pokemon...but with aspects of mental health and self love! I took inspiration from a similar game called Voidpet which I learned about on Tiktok.
Q. What are events?
A. Sometimes, I'll make threads with a theme, and then I'll give unique little Mothú designs to those who fit the theme best ( Like legendary pokemon!)
Q. What can we do with Mothú?
A. You can adapt them into personal characters, use them in roleplays, or anything else you'd like!
Participate in Memoria content etc etc
Q. Whose allowed to participate?
A. Any user at all!
Even if we don't see eye to eye, or I've asked you not to interact you're fully welcome in threads pertaining to Memoria!
Q. How do I pick my starter / when will I get the design?
A. I'll be posting a list of the available starters soon! And might actually make a quiz to help you decide if you aren't able to pick one on your own.
Designs will be given to people as soon as I have time to draw, line and colour them! -
Starter Mothú
Euphoria:
An Energetic Mothú, that is always leaning towards the bright side of things. Euphoria typed Mothú are very affectionate, and often sway on the cuter side of things.
Euphoria works well with people who are willing to try different schools of thoight in order to achieve their goal.
Part of the Reactive Trio, Euphoria is weak against Anxiety, but strong against Anger.
Anger:
A rather agressive Mothú that takes a lot of patience to bond with, due to its stubborn and confrontational nature. Anger typed Mothú tend to sway on the sharper types of things, enjoying more active hobbies and activities with their partnered visitor.
Anger works well with those who tend to be stubborn, and not give up easily.
Part of the Reactive Trio, Anger is weak to Euphoria but strong against Anxiety.
Anxiety:
A shy, and often paranoid Mothú that takes a gentle and understanding heart to befriend. Anxious typed Mothú tend to always be on the lookout for danger, even when alone with those it considers friends. They often prefer calming activities to participate in and tend to lean towards relaxing things.
Anxiety works well with those who have overcome great hardships, and continue despite their own insecurities.

Design spoilers:
Euphoria as a species is very fluffy, with lots of sheep imagery, it's symbol being a heart. It will likley have bright colours.
Anger will likley be inspired by a dragon, with sharp lines, and darker colours. It's symbol is a spade.
Anxiety is very likley to be some sort of insect, like a moth. It will be in typically more colder colours, with lots of wavy lines. -
