Oh, and fun fact about our sandstorm! Some of them(read: a LOT of them) are moving sand fast enough to literally rip your skin and flesh off your body.

Yeah, we do that. But the sand still get inside
And we still get flash floods btw. -
And sometimes that's not even an option, like if your ac is out.

Plus, you STILL have the issue of it being so hot you die from stepping out to long -

Yeah, make that 30 minutes if your not used to it and are unprepared. Your friend is giving you advice that will keep you alive.
I'm not joking when I say the heat WILL kill you faster then anything else in this f---ing state -
