Thread Topic: let's play a game

Forewarning
This thread contains potentially disturbing material. Nothing NSFW, but if you don't like scary stories this thread isn't for you.
This thread is an directory of various mythological games and events as described by different cultures. I will give a synopsis and history of different rituals and cryptids associated with them, and pose a simple question:
would you play this game?
There will be one story every day and you may discuss with other users whether or not you'd play the game or if it's worth it? -
Volume 1. Chapter 1.
lookie-lookie
if you survive this game, you will receive a gift that is valuable beyond belief-- however... the punishment for losing is a long, and tormenting death.
To play this game, you will need three things
-a pure white candle stick
-a lighter or match
-white paint
Once you have your items, you will need to use your paint to draw eyes onto every window in your house. Be warned; if you miss a window, your house won't be protected and you cannot win the game.
Once you have painted your windows, you will need to go into a room that has no windows and close the door. You must then wait in there until midnight, when you can begin the game. Light your candlestick and repeat this phrase three times:
"Lookie-lookie! Come and see.... Lookie-Lookie! You won't find me...."
This will summon the Looksie man.
For the next six hours, or until sunrise, the Looksie man will walk outside your house peering into your windows. You cannot stay in one room. You must also walk around your house, never letting your candlestick go out. If he sees you in the window or your candle goes out, you will lose the game.
If you successfully make it until sunrise, blow our your candle and he will disappear. Your reward for winning will be omnipotent clairvoyance. You will be blessed with future sight and a of the benefits that come with it.
However, if you are caught. The Looksie man will grab you by the leg and drag you back to his lair, where he will consume your eyes and leave you to starve to death in his inescapable lair.
Would you play this game? -
Can we ask questions regarding the game?
-
Of course you can! All discussion is permitted
-
So you say we can't stay in one room.
What if I walk back and forth between two rooms that are right next to each other all night that both happen to be windowless? -
All of the rooms here have rooms in them.
Plus, it isnt really that big of a place. Not many rooms.
So, for me, I would not play. -
I believe you can go back and forth through rooms without windows, you just have to continually move throughout the house. If you stay in one area for too long you lose the game.
-
And those two rooms would probably be considered an area.
Can the Looksie see in the dark? -
Oh but you have a candle so that wouldn't matter.
Could you put a cover over the candle that makes it so that no light comes through but the light doesn't go out?
Yes I have a design idea for this -
As long as the candle doesn't go out and you hold it the whole time, it doesn't matter if it's visible.
-
Ok then I'll play the game

I'm going to post a second game today -
Volume 1. Chapter 2
The Devil's Die
this is one of the most dangerous games to play as there are no safeguards you can take. Your fate is entirely left up to chance
To play this game you will need three things
-some chalk
-a piece of paper
-a six sided die
In order to play, you must wait until the sun is down before writing the phrase
"I submit my fate upon the die"
You must write this while facing a window that lets in moonlight, and as soon as you sign the paper the game may begin.
Using your chalk, you may draw a circle on the ground. You must roll the die in this circle. The reward and risk of the die lays in the numbers. You may roll the die as many times as you please, but be warned. If you roll an unlucky number you will seal your fate.
The fates go as follows:
1. Great wealth
2. True love
3. Long life
4. Good luck
5. Good health
However, if you are unlucky enough to roll a six. You will be subjected to only one fate; a slow and painful death in the near future.
You may roll the die as many times as you'd like, and play in a group as long as everyone signs the paper. Once you roll a six, you will lose everything. Rolling a three after rolling a six does not negate the six.
Would you play the game? -
