Just wondering lol

Starry Night

I love Starry Night it’s so pretty
-
I really like the Girl With the Pearl Earring, but I don’t think it’s my favorite
Ok here it is, Ground Swell
-
the settlers- Lars Elling
Lars Elling is my favorite painter. I am very inspired by all of his work and would love to pick up oil painting because of him -
He captures feelings of weltschmerz perfectly, and implacable, but timelessly nostalgic moments. Perfectly mundane, perfectly mesmerizing.

I'm not sure if I have a favourite painting of all time, but when I think of artists that captivate me, pysanka jumps to the front of my mind lately. I've always been fascinated by their work and their blend of abstract art + anime. -
Not exactly a painting but uh--
-
Oh, and here is Starry Night for people who don't know it. 👀
-
I really like this piece by KwangHo Shin
And Ophelia by Friedrich Heyser -
My favorite painting
-
I like the "Why he cry from banana" painting and those paintings of little black cats on things, like tiny little blobs
-
Okay but in all seriousness my favorite painting is "Saturn Devouring His Son" by Francisco Goya. I don't know if I'm allowed to post it on here because of the sites rules, because as the title says, it's someone eating someone.
However, my second favorite painting is a classic. "The Persistence of Memory" by Salvado Dalí (sorry if I got the accent wrong)
Here's that one

Does Frida Kahlo count? I like her paintings they're very interesting.

But now that I think of it I also really like "The Hands Resist Him" by Bill Stoneham. Fun fact; it's supposedly really haunted. But I just love the way the girl is drawn and the hands in the darkness of the background.
