The house has been abandoned for quite some time, and I've always been curious about it. Something about the feeling of the house itself, it just puts me in a trance. I usually do my best to ignore it, but today is different. I've decided to look in it. I open the door...

Go to the closet and check it for skeletons., as the saying goes.

I go into the bathroom, and lift up the toilet seat for fun. I check to see if it still flushes. It does not. I try to make a face in the mirror, but I have no reflection. I open the shower curtains and see a body in the tub. It looks...exactly like me? It looks like the girl that looks like my doppelganger was stabbed. I run out of the bathroom, terrified.

I walk into the living room, and sit on the couch. It's uncomfortable, but what did I expect? Most of the living room is barren, but a toy magic wand catches my eye. It has a button, but the batteries are dead. I pick it up, and wonder if I should take it with me.

the closet: where i spent most of my childhood

I take the magic wand, and put it in my backpack. Next, I head into the attic. It's hard to breathe, it's so musty. The floorboards are creaky. There's a suspicious looking blanket covering something in the corner. I take the blanket off. It's...another one of me? It looks like the one in the bathroom. But this time, there's a gunshot wound to the head. Where are these things coming from? I leave the attic, weirded out.

I enter the closet, it was mostly empty. All that was in there was a knife, a gun, an axe, and a crowbar. Should I take one of them with me? I only have room for one if I'm going to collect other things.
