Ever since I made something in my free time yesterday and she put it out on social media per my request she’s wanting me to draw things and nagging me about my art signature and it just really doesn’t feel right..

She literally told me I shouldn’t be putting my last name on my signature in case I get married or something-

Alright decided to be a bit blunt about how I didn’t want to change my signature. Because that’s a part of my art I’m not going to change it just because anyone tells me to.

Good on you for standing up for yourself. It's not easy but your identity is never something that should be undermined. Your art is an extension of yourself and it's disrespectful for her to tell you what that looks like. Hopefully it doesn't cause any major problems for you but I'm happy for you. Your art is awesome BTW!
