So, based on a book i'm reading, we're all Jan'Tep (people with magic). We were all born with six bands.
Ember
Water
Iron
Silk
Breath
And Sand magic. there will come a time when some spark some bands. Eg, You can become an Iron Mage, Silk Mage depending on the bands you sparked.
When each person turns 16, they take four duels which will test them to see if they can earn their mage's name. Eg: Jane to Ja'aria, Pane to Pan'erath, etc.
There are spells you can cast, with each band.
I'm coming up with this idea of a GTQ duel. If you've seen the one on WOP, you'll know what i'm talking about.
If y'all don't comment, you're probably Sha'Tep (without magic xD)
